Derek Bieri is getting braver and braver with his will it run car purchases. It used to be that you’d look at half of them and think there is no way, and the other half that it would totally work no problem. Well now the ratio is a bit more skewed toward the “hell no he’s going to make it home in that crap.” level. Nothing against this Polara, it’s a fine Mopar automobile, but it’s a Mopar and they have some weird junk going on in them so if the right thing goes wrong there is roughly a 1.274 percent chance of finding or fixing the part. With that said, we never doubt Derek and are all about driving junk a long ways. So buckle up kiddos, as Derek gets a look at this Dodge that has been parked for 32 years, just waiting for Derek to get his hands on it.

I know, it’s prettier than most of his stuff, by a lot. But it’s someone else’s abandoned project. Looks could be deceiving. But convertibles are good. As long as it isn’t raining.
