As if there wasn’t enough rusty sheet metal replaced already, Dan has got one more spot to fix on what he’s calling the World’s Worst 1957 Chevrolet. In fact, he even goes so far as to compare it to some pretty nasty examples that other folks we know have put together. But now that it has a fixed up chassis, with rebuilt suspension and and engine, it’s time to do that last rust repair and get this thing close to being an actual car.
Video Description:
This rotten 1957 Chevy is getting it’s final repair panel. When we dragged this car home it was rough and rotten from the door handles down. The car came with a pile of replacement sheetmetal except 1 lower quarter section.
These replacement panels are expensive! But I pulled the trigger and ordered the piece to be installed.
With all the repair panels stitched in place we moved onto modifying the headers. I wanted to run fender well headers on this Chevy LS. So I pulled out out a used set of big block Chevy headers and cut them up to fit LS exhaust flanges.
