Talk about a total street killer, this 2003 Durango looks the part of a clean but aging SUV but it runs hard enough to embarrass lots and lots of late model muscle cars and classics as well. Packing a SD Concepts Engineering built 360 packing a pair of little 60mm turbos, it makes 530hp to the wheels on pump gas and as you will see in this video it’ll smolder all four tires on the street on the launch. SDCE is located in Rhode Island and the truck’s owner in located in Washington State. That’s either a guy desperate to keep a secret or a guy who knows the type of work that the Rhode Island shop turns out. We suspect a little of both. Did we mention it does all of this though the factory catalytic converters?! Now we did.

The truck was built soup to nuts by SDCE and tuned there as well. These guys have been in the turbo game since way before everyone was doing it. Their shop Challenger was frighteningly fast when it was the only turbo car of note in the New England area and everything they learned on that car they have been applying to customer cars ever since. Hell, these guys even tuned on Nutting’s Monte Carlo SS after he swapped EFI onto it years ago. But back to the Durango.

Many times in today’s world the sleeper is a thinly veiled rocket ship that can be kind of transparent if you know what you are looking at. Well as long as the hood is down on this Durango you’d never see it coming. We’re not saying that the owner is a street racer but if he is, that thing made him some quick cash before the rest of Washington State figured it out.

The specs for the truck are in the video and trust us when we say that it looks entertaining as hell and build with good sense as well. This thing is awesome.
