2014 is Hedman Hedders 60th anniversary. That’s bitchin for multiple reasons. Firstly, it means that the company has been making quality products right here in the USA for more than half a century, and secondly it means that there’s a long a happy future ahead of the business as well. Hedman has something like 250 new part numbers in their catalog for 2014 and we saw some stuff recently that will really rock the boat when it hits shelves in a few months. We actually plan on using several of their pieces in upcoming project we’re going to be documenting here on BangShift. Outside of the 60th and the new parts, Hedman recently announced that they’d be returning as the class sponsor for the NMCA West’s Nostalgia Street Car class, which is great news for the popular class that is filled with door slammers from the 1960s and 1970s.

The NMCA West series has really taken on a life of its own in recent years and it is cool that Hedman remains a supporter of the action at tracks like Pomona, Fontana, and Las Vegas. The cars in the Nostalgia Street Car Category are the types of cars that utilize Hedman’s famously well fitting headers and the index format of the class means that there is a vast array of vehicles competing from 8-second heavy hitters to 14-second street machines. The best part is that Hedman makes a hedder to fit ’em all!
