I’m in the middle of building a new shop and hopefully soon a new house and we’re literally doing it all ourselves. That means I’m often looking at videos on design or build projects and such and one of those is the gang over at HomeMadeModern. They have some cool stuff, build neat furniture, and are always doing something fun. This project is one they just posted that is SUPER EASY and I thought it might be a good one to share with all of you. If you have a pair of old steel wheels laying around, this is one you could do in an hour or two and have a cool fire pit for the patio. Throw some scrap wood in it and light it off and this would make a nice summer sit-around pit that doesn’t require a giant fire to enjoy.

This is way simpler than some of them that I’ve seen, and some that I’ve built, but it is easy to clean, easy to use and if you take some sheet steel you can build a cool little table to set around it too. In fact, if you go creative you could make something even cooler than the tabletop he’s built without using much material. And, this would be an excellent project to build with your kids! None of the welding involved needs to look awesome so let them do it, and if you don’t have a welder then drilling a few holes and using some bolts instead will do the same thing!
