Rust, the nastiest four letter word in the hot rodders language. Ugh, fixing it is a pain in the ass. But, with the amazing availability of reproduction sheetmetal for all kinds of muscle cars, classics, and hot rods, there isn’t much you can’t order from a catalog when trying to restore your favorite. When it comes to first gen Camaros, the parts are so plentiful that you can now build a complete body with absolutely ZERO factory parts. But having the parts available is not the only thing needed to make these kinds of repairs, there is clearly some skill involved as well. But you might be surprised at how “easy” doing a complete floor pan can be if you have the right simple tools, the time, and the patience to do it right. This video from the guys and gals at Eastwood is awesome and will show you just how to pull this one off and what tips and tricks will make it WAY easier for you to do so in your home garage.
