Jason at Fireball tools is a badass. Plain and simple, this dude only knows how to do things one way and that is to the absolute highest level possible and appropriate. I love his tools, wish I owned more of them, and have been a fan for years. I use his squares all the time, and even have his weld-together fabrication squares which you can’t buy anymore. He makes a lot of cool tools, from squares to fixture tables, and sells all kinds of great tools to go with the Fireball brand products as well. With that said, he always has new stuff coming to market, and isn’t afraid to say when he thinks he can do better than a current Fireball offering.

And that’s the point of this video. I’ve been watching the Fireball Tools channel for years and I’ve seen Jason test a variety of fixture tables, and even seen him try out new designs to see what is best. I’ve seen him prove that making a big table “flat” to within a couple of thousandths of an inch is possible, although most of us will never need that.

So what is he going to do now that he has decided to make what he hopes will be the end all, be all, fixture table of all fixture tables? What is it going to look like? What is going to make it special?
