Lower Your Bug! – Eastwood’s VW Beetle Project Gets A Weld In Adjustable Ball Joint Beam!

This is not only a video that is going to show you how a VW Beetle from beam gets modified for adjusters, but also one that is going to show you some of the cool tools you can get from Eastwood to do this kind of work at home. He starts off with parts for his project that are in less that stellar shape. Not horrible, but definitely in need of some love. What’s funny is that he bough the adjusters for this thing on Amazon for about $20, and after some wet media blasting, welding the adjusters in himself, a bit of rust repair, and finally powder coating, he’s ready to do some assembly work and get this bug on the ground.

What do you think? Tell us which tool they used that impressed you most. I think their exhaust tubing and roll cage tube cutter is pretty darn impressive!
