Yep, free speed is great speed and thanks to some smarts and some adjustments Finnegan and Newbern have gained a couple miles per hour in the Renegade Rogers jet boat that they just LS Swapped. It’s a proper hot rod now, and we’re pretty sure it’s going to be an even hotter rod shortly as nitrous is in it’s future. Of course Newbern needs to learn how to drive it, what is scary and not scary, and what it is like to own a hot rod boat. He’s tickled pink, as all of us would be, to have something with open headers, and engine, and just two seats that hauls as on the lake. This is hot rod boating at it’s best and the smiles per hour that this one produces are epic as well. Just look at Finnegan’s face when he’s driving it!
With some adjustments to the carbs, a change of spark plugs, and then some quick and easy Place Diverter adjustments they’ve got this thing running cleaner and happier, and the boat riding better in the water. In fact, if conditions were better during their tests, I’m pretty sure they would have picked up another couple miles per hour on these speed hits. We’ll have to wait and see during the next video.
