Nasty To Nice: This Is How You Do An Engine Makeover In Your Driveway

There is nothing finer than a freshly painted and installed engine. Especially when it has new valve covers, intake, air cleaner, etc. But what if you have a driver that doesn’t need a new engine but desperately needs an engine makeover? Well, there are a couple ways to go about it, but this underhood makeover was done mostly with rattle cans and powder coated parts and turned out amazing! It’s inspiring me to do more than pressure wash the small block in Ethyl! Watch the video and then send us photos of your engine compartment.

submitted a picture of the sbc in my MGB-reasonably clean for a driven car with no fenderwells. Never thought of pulling an engine just to clean it.

What happened to the Edelbrock fuel log he spent a lot of time talking about, then vanishes in the shot. Replaced with rubber fuel lines and the glass fuel filter.
