If you are a car enthusiast over the age of 40, the General Lee is an American TV icon, as we all grew up watching the Dukes of Hazzard where this car was as big a character as any of those folks with speaking rolls. And the Duke Boys, Uncle Jessie, Cooter, Roscoe, Daisy, Enis, and even Boss Hog referred to The General as if it was a person in the show. So regardless of whether you are Mopar fan, a Ford fan, or a GM fan, everyone loves a Charger. Not the four door things they call a Charger now, but a real Charger like those used for the Dukes of Hazzard.

This 1969 Dodge Charger is the dream car of it’s owner, but life got in the way of him finishing it before other responsibilities took over. So we’re going to step up and help finish his car for him and his family. This first installment of what is sure to be a very fun and rewarding series shows us picking up the car and taking it over to none other than Dylan McCool so we can see if this old General still has some life left in it and if it still has what it takes to give the law the slip!
