Tim McAmis just started a new Fabrication Series where he is going over all the materials, tools, and techniques required to build race cars and we’re starting them off today with the first three. Now they are admittedly not the most flashy topics, but they are where we all have to start and will insure your project turns out the way you want. Tim starts out explaining the basics of tubing, sizes, types, and terminology in Episode 1. Episode 2 and 3 continue on with tools required to fit and measure tubing in a roll cage or chassis. Without these tools, and the skill to use them, making your tubing fit properly will be much harder than it has to be. And Tim wants you to succeed, so he is giving you all the info you need to do just that.
