Making tools is such a satisfying thing to do. I for one love going into the tool box and grabbing a tool I have built or modified to work better. It always makes you feel good to know you did something that will make work easier and better. But what about power tools? Are you down for making some of your own? I for one would LOVE to own a Burrking belt grinder, as they are the cream of the crop. But they are not cheap that for sure. Now price is not the only thing to look at when buying a tool, and a belt grinder can be so amazingly useful that spending real money on one can still be a good investment, but there is no reason not to try to build something as good or better for cheaper.
