Here’s the seventh video in the series as Kevin and the crew do everything they can to get this car done in 5 days for Cleetus and Cars in Bristol, plus the actual burnout competition where they spin the stock bottom end engine to 8,000 RPM and hope it lives!
We’re going to share the videos with you this weekend as these guys decide to build a burnout car for Cleetus and Cars in Bristol at the last minute. This is going to be one huge event, with the largest burnout contest ever according to word on the street, and everyone that is anyone is going to be there smoking tires. So of course Kevin and the boys decided to get in on the action.
Because it’s them, they are going to do it their way, including sending a 2JZ off in style as that is NOT going to be the engine they use in this Lexus that they are turning into their burnout car. So burnouts are in order to make sure the 2JZ is sent off properly, and then it’s time for some thrashing to start.
In the first video below they introduce the car, decide on a plan, and decide they really are going to do this. In the second video, the thrashing commences. Let’s see how it goes.
