It just might have been the only time David Freiburger will ever admit to beating up Hookers, but in an early episode of Engine Masters, they bolted up a set of Hooker Headers to a BluePrint 400ci Chevrolet small-block and grabbed some heavy hammers. The finding: a drop in power so minor as to not be worth worrying about. Good news for backyard hack mechanics and people with low-hanging tubes, but as with any video ever put up on the Internet, the comment section filled up, telling Freiburger, Steve Dulcich and Steve Brule how wrong they were…specifically, that the headers they used in the bash test were so big, that it didn’t matter how badly damaged they were, because they still would have had plenty of flow for the 400. So, in purposeful overkill fashion, the guys break out small, medium and large Hookers in order to prove a point about choking down an engine…or to prove that there is such a thing as too much flow…or something like that.
Yeah big deal!
Its the usual hunka Chevy shit and its their heads that should have been hammered….
Excellent shitpost Geordie. You have a knack for belligerence.
I wish Geordie would take his d!(k out of his mouth so we could understand what he is saying…
gordie probably was there when Ford’s first Model T(urd) was coined. that would explain his loyalty and senility.
great job Freiburger
