Now that we are back from SEMA we can start wading through all the great tips we got while working in Las Vegas at the show. One of the best ones we got came from MSD’s Robert Martin who set us on the trail of an awesome piece of drag racing video that features one great save at the drags. 

Filmed at the El Paso Motorplex, it shows racer Vic Hernandez launching in his very healthy Corvette. You can briefly see the car in the right lane over the starter’s shoulder when it then makes a hard move to the right and shoots back across the track to the left…on two wheels!

It looks like curtains for Hernandez, but somehow he saves his car from certain destruction!
