Cabin Fever Cure: Paramotoring To McDonald’s For A Bite To Eat!

Cabin Fever Cure: Paramotoring To McDonald’s For A Bite To Eat!

I don’t know about you, folks, but even with being lucky enough to live away from major populations way out in the corn fields, and being able to get outside of my house fairly often, the cabin fever is real. Every time I get to drive the car anywhere is a treat for me right now. Seriously, I’m happy to be in any car driving any distance right now, and if I’ve got a destination, all the better. Sure, I’ve saved a bit on fuel cost over the last couple of years, but dammit, I want out! With the month of April seemingly cancelled too, I have to find ways to enjoy the moments I actually get out of the house. But how do you do that in the days of social distancing and keeping away from others?

Well, if you have any kind of flying skill, you might enjoy this guy’s quick McDonald’s burger run on a paramotor. What does that entail? A small two-stroke engine hooked to a fan on your back, a parachute rigging setup, and a chair to sit in. Oh, and zero fear of flying, because if you get nervous on a 737 when a bump happens in the air, imagine how clenched you will be if you see nothing but your legs dangling out in front of you. That’ll put the fear of God right back into your system.

Honestly…I’ve flown Cessnas, I’ve flown helicopters, and watching a YouTube video of this guy flying mere feet off of the deck made me a bit nervous. Seeing him a couple hundred feet up sent cold shivers down my spine.

I love Tucker gott he’s a gar-fish type for paramotoring. You two are the “Karen’s” of the world.

This video is almost 2 and a half years old. It’s nice to see he’s still posting videos as of…11 hours ago…(when I posted THIS missive). He appears to know what he’s doing. He’s living life and loving it. Nice to see! A welcome break from the doleful rubbish we seem to be obliged to consume on the interwebs of late…
