Who would have thought that tying your Honda Civic to a concrete block
and roasting the tires off the front of it would result in a
pyrotechnic display? These guys didn’t.

The little Honda gives it all it has for as long as it can before
something goes awry. What causes the fire? It’s tough to tell from the
video but it seems like the transmission might have failed judging by
the puddle of fire on the ground under the car.

What’s funny is the way about 300 people attack the car with plastic
water bottles to put the fire out. You’d figure with the crowd at the
event one would not be able to swing a dead cat withouth hitting at
least a dozen chrome plated fire extinguishers. We just thank God the
car was not equipped with “NAWS” as Fast and Furious showed us that cars so equipped will explode in a fire with a nuclear-like ferocity.
