CRAZY VIDEO: AN IN CAR VIEW OF A HUGE HIGHWAY PILE UP – WARNING BAD LANGUAGE!

The guys over at Jalopnik posted this wild video earlier today and we were tipped off to it by a reader. WARNING – THERE ARE MULTIPLE F-WORDS USED AND YOU CAN HEAR THEM CLEARLY – WARNING. Ok, now that we’re done with that, this video was taken by a guy driving his Evo on a snow covered West Virginia highway. To say that things go bad quickly here is grossly understating the situation.

Using his brain and properm driving technique the guy in the Evo did not mash the brakes and lock up like a deer in the headlights, instead he guided his car through the only real escape route he could see and although he suffered damage, it was nothing compared to the guy that is driving next to him when everything goes sideways.

Oh, then there’s the out of control 18-wheeler careening into the whole mess….serously.

Thanks to Hank for the tip!

ONCE MORE — THERE ARE SWEAR WORKS IN THIS VIDEO THAT RHYME WITH TRUCK AND THEY ARE LOUD!

good driving, way to go. lucky as there was no bumper beam. I went through similar, but instead of a banking, it was another car.Squeezed between .. 4 mirros in four directions..tight fit. it is funny now.

Drive safe on snow and ice while filming everything around you?

The bigger concern is why DMVs continue handing DL’s to unskilled drivers.

Evo was going at a pretty good clip for crappy roads and poor visibility too. No bumper beam on your street car is a pretty bad idea too.

    That wasn’t black ice.
It was just snow and a bunch of morons driving too fast for conditions… including the guy filming in the Evo.

You guys have obviously never driven in snow. You’ll notice he was in complete control, it was those in front who ran out of talent. Never stop on a snowy highway… Obviously, you need to if you’ve lost control… Also, not running straight into someone is a great lesson, too. Finally, that’s called a dash cam.

It does look like he was outdriving his visibility, but otherwise, some very impressive driving to avoid totaling the EVO.

Evo dude was definately driving too fast for the conditions. Why else would he have the dash cam going? It always is amazing to see how a 1″ or two of snow can seperate the crap drivers from the good drivers.

He bashes the Flex driver’s driving skill but it looked to me like he aimed for the opening between two cars,EVO guy blocked his escape to the left,I didn’t see any open area to the right.EVO guy was moving too fast for conditions as was Flexy.I dont think the Flex looked up.
The truck could have doted everybodies “I” I wonder if the Flex moving those 2 cars opened the lane for the truck?

Definitely too fast for the conditions, if you watch the wheels on the Flex, they never locked up. Hey just skidded in a worse place than the EVO. Not to mention the tires really don’t look like the best choice for the weather either.
