Since it’s getting colder and colder, and even SoCal is getting near freezing temperatures at night the last few days, I thought it was time to post a preview video of things to come once the snow and ice finds it’s way to our roads. Well, your roads. Mine will remain mostly ice free. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve driven in ice plenty of times while living in Dallas and when visiting snowy areas, and it can be a nerve racking experience sometimes.
In this video though you will see a bunch of different ice driving scenarios and varying degrees of skill in navigating them. My favorite bad ass moment is when the box truck driver takes a frozen road full of cars at speed, and drifts a corner like a boss without touching anything. Dumb luck, or super skill? Probably both. My favorite fail is the city bus that does a spin on a small city street and only hits one pole.
Enjoy folks. Oh, and yes we chose this one as much for the sound track as anything.
Ice, Ice, Baby…
