Let’s face it, Finnegan isn’t exactly your average Mopar owner. And yet he owns two of the more iconic Mopars ever built. Weird don’t you think? So he’s got his ’68 Charger, that they did a 2JZ swap on. Mopar people just love it when you take a Mopar and change it so that it no longer has Mopar power. And then he’s got this 1969 Charger, that is disguised as a Daytona Wing Car, and while it has more Mopar purity going on, it’s still an ugly clone and that pisses them off too. But what will the response be when he takes both of them to a local car show? That’s what a GoPro is for, so he made sure one was running to catch everyone’s reactions. Will any of them be positive? Or will everyone just hate this thing?
Video Description:
Episode 267 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage is a fun one. After doing a bit of suspension tuning on my Toyota 2JZ-swapped ’68 Charger we road trip it and my ’69 Charger to the local Caffeine and Octane car show here in Georgia. We wanted to see what the people thought of the ratty muscle car and so we mounted a camera on the windshield and let it roll for over an hour to capture folks’ impressions of the cardboard radiator ducting, ratchet strap battery hold down and rusty body. Boy was that exciting! lol.
