For the last few episodes of Hot Rod Garage, Freiburger has been taking us through a budget-minded build of a 2005 Ford Mustang GT that was tuned to have a little more power and a lot more handling prowess…and we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the over-the-top EBC Brakes kit that was installed as well. The car has improved from it’s baseline figures, but now it’s time to make the Mustang prettier, something that you can almost see DF cringing at. But ever the professional, he makes some good choices, and because he doesn’t really know “pretty”, he makes a couple of bad decisions as well. The Mustang gets some paint love courtesy of Eagle 1 products, then some tape stripes and a new one-piece driveshaft from Dana. What’s really cool is that Freiburger admits that he screwed up when he found out he ordered a blackout panel for the Mustang. I actually ordered the exact same part for my Mustang a few years back, and after two weeks on the car, I took it off and had the trunk lid painted black instead.
Now…if that isn’t enough for you to check out this episode, there is the question and answer section of the show where Freiburger and Finnegan team up to answer questions off of Facebook, and Finnegan…well, apparently Mike was feeling a bit feisty during the filming and proceeded to bring Brian’s name into this. I’m not going to spoil the scene at all, but trust me, I highly doubt that Lohnes is gonna let this one go quietly!
Yup, I heard that comment and I was like “Oh boy, here we go.”
So Brian, how does it feel to be thrown under the bus on Hot Rod Garage!
There’s no such thing as bad publicity so long as they spell your name right.
