Don Prudhomme hung up his drag racing spurs prior to the 2010 NHRA season. Without a major sponsor to support his racing operation, the Snake wasn’t going to run a sub-standard team, so he’s been out at nostalgia events more often than ever. One of the Prudhomme’s cooler tricks of late was the restoration of his vintage Hot Wheels ‘Cuda Funny Car and its equally bad ass hauler. We’d never heard the Funny cack-cack until we ran across this video. Crank it up!

There is not a better sound in the world than one of these old fuel motors on a heavy load. To quote the legendary drag racing announcer Jon Lundberg, “The cackle begins….again.”
