This video is hilarious. Apparently when Luke Akers decided to sell his aging Nissan Maxima he thought the most fun way to do it would be to use his creative skills as a filmmaker and showcase it’s “finer points”. The video is all Euro Luxury car commercial style and will have you laughing your ass off. With amazing creature comforts, and impeccable engineering standards, Akers’ Maxima comes “fully loaded with an engine, wheels, tires, and an automatic transmission.”

The video is pure genius, but fails to mention some of the cool “upgrades” that we find most charming. Accessories like the optional High Speed Ratcheting Hood Latch Mechanism, High Flow Cooling System, and Ventilated Seats make this a truly loaded machine. The reliability, which will get you “from Point A to B…Most of the time.” is the kind of confidence inspiring performance that most of us look for a in a Craigslist car purchase.

The level of sarcasm in this video is astounding. If it wasn’t for the British accent that the narrator possesses, we would just say he was being a smart ass, but since the accent makes it so official, it’s sarcasm.

In an almost unbelievable twist, it has been reported that Nissan actually called Akers after hearing about the video on Twitter and offered to not only purchase the car from him, but also donate $1000 to the charity of his choice. That’s pretty F’ing cool in our book. Who knows, maybe they’ll like his work enough to give him a job producing some new Nissan commercials.
