Insane Video: Watch A Monster Mining Dump Truck Spin A Complete and Unintentional Donut While Fully Loaded!
This is one of the more miraculous and incredible videos we have ever seen. This huge dump truck, working at what seems to be an open pit mine, is driving down a wet and mucky haul road with a pickup truck behind it. As the truck is heading downhill you car see it get a little sideways and then things get really, really weird. The truck goes into a full drift to one side and the driver manages to get it turning in the right direction, only to have the truck, which probably weighs a half million pounds or more, come completely around in the other direction, ultimately looping completely in the road! The truck does not turn over, the driver probably crapped their pants, and after gathering him or herself, the driver works to get the truck turned in the correct direction when the video stops.
We’re not sure if this happens very often but it sure is creepy to watch. It is like a three story building spinning about in the middle of the road. Thankfully the ground was squishy and loose enough that the truck was able to just skate around like an elephant rather than going turtle like we thought it was going to. What do you think the driver was saying when all this was going in?

I’m gonna guess that what the driver was saying all started with either the letter F or S. Maybe a few GD’s thrown in also.

    Pucker factor at +11

Yup, that’s a small truck, probably in the 150 ton load range. Happens quite a bit. It’s more unnerving when the drivers are USED to it. Seen them twist up like that then continue on like nothing happened!!

Fortunately we’ve finally gotten our safety culture to the point where the drivers are ready and willing to call about shutting down a run due to conditions instead of pushing production in bad conditions like that.

used to change tires on those, and bigger, is a medium size truck, never seen that in NorCal though, interesting

“like good old Jack Burton would say, it’s all in the reflexes!”

Possibly in this guy’s case it might have been, “F%&K, F#@K, F&*K, F©®K, F♣♫K, (truck comes to a stop), SON OF A B♀¾CH!!!”

The guy on the other end of the radio had me cracking up the way he said they were “pulling the plug”
