Mention the term “blow over” to any drag racing fan and visions of Top Fuel dragsters flying through the air upside down fill their heads. After watching this video, that vision may be edited to add Ford Mustangs. In one of the most unbelievable pieces of footage we have ever seen, a Mustang actually catches enough air to blow over backward and wreck in horrifying fashion.
You’ll notice the car come up and set down gently, but just after the traps it bounces again again and this time, it doesn’t set down. Well, it does set down, but with less than good results.
The driver came out of this OK, but about $300,000 worth of race car certainly did not.
