Jason Lewis has done it again. The first time we saw Lewis do his thing with Mike Ryan we fell in love with the video, called “Size Matters”. It is Ken Block meets a hot rod Freightliner meets killer cinematography. Well, if that video was about this show, this is about the GO! The footage shows Mike tearing up the dirt and asphalt at the Mount Washington Hill Climb, an event that disapppeared for a couple years and is now back with a vengence
Ryan traveled all the way out to New Hampshire to compete, and as you will see in the video, he brought the thunder. The Mt Washington race is far shorter in distance than Pikes Peak, but it has lots of blind corners, drops, and running far too close to a sheer drop off.
As a side note, Mt Washington has often been called the spot with the worst weather in north America. We’ve driven up the mountain a couple times (at far slower speeds than you will see!) and can tell you that when it is 70 degrees on the ground, it will probably be snowing at the top of the mountain.
Mike’s truck is a marvel of engineering. This video does a kick ass job at highlighting that!
Pretty awesome.
Now THIS is a thrill ride, mega-torque, heavy truck, racing (litterally) on the edge…looks like fun to me!
