Morning Symphony: Thoroughbred Italians Playing In The Snow

Morning Symphony: Thoroughbred Italians Playing In The Snow

The Lamborghini Aventador S’s base price is an eye-watering $402,995. Don’t sweat what you can or can’t buy with that kind of cash…just think about this for a second: if you could buy the car, you would go out and enjoy the hell out of it, wouldn’t you? Of course you would. Whether you buy a $500 beater or a blistering supercar that makes people the world over weak in the knees, if you don’t actually use it, there really was no point in blowing the money. A Lamborghini is meant to be driven, it’s meant to be enjoyed, it’s meant to make those without jealous as all get-out.

Or, you could somehow weasel your way into Lamborghini’s Accademia driving program, which is a three-tier instruction system that teaches drivers the ins, outs, and the unwritten rules about handling Sant’Agata’s angry bulls. This footage is from the Winter Accademia course at Livigno, a ski resort in Italy, and proves that even the more expensive and exclusive super cars can tolerate a bit of abuse while drifting and cutting up in powdery snow. Would you pay for the opportunity to have a lap? We would!

All this says to me is “Hey Antonio, put away your Lamborghini when it snows and drive the Subaru”.”It’s just as fast and when the punk kid (without insurance) runs into you and your tears won’t make your eye makeup run” 🙂
