I’ve often thought that the men and women who race Top Fuel motorcycles are all part of a small group of escaped mental patients that somehow fell into the same hobby. Seriously, to see one of these machines run down the strip with the front wheel off the track for most of the run, speeds eclipsing the mid 200-mph mark, and more danger than modeling bacon flavored underwear in a rabid dog pound, is beyond words. This video serves as a little more proof that the screws are definitely loose!

You’ll see the rider and a crew man fire up the bike, flip it over onto nitro, get the motor warmed up and then make some tire smoke in the shop. Hell, the guy actually does a damned dry hop after the burnout to put the cherry on top! The people in the shop are all at a safe (?!) distance and we’re sure that they got a full snoot full of nitro during this madness. Who are we kidding, we wish we were there!
