The American Powertrain Parting Shift: Strap Into The Time Bomb Camaro For Some Half-Mile Runs At Ocala!

The Time Bomb Camaro, driven by brothers David and Mike Matyjasik, has been a favorite car of ours here at BangShift for years now. We’ve seen plenty of footage of this black beast ripping gears during LSR runs with the 364ci NASCAR Buick-headed small block Chevrolet singing the siren’s call as it runs down the track, inhaling a ton of nitrous along the way. We’ve seen timeslips in the 213MPH range out at Wilmington, so trust us when we say that this is one bad hombre. Last year we thought that the Camaro was going to get put up for a while, but either Brian’s hints worked or the brothers managed to pull a rabbit out of their hat, because the Time Bomb is certainly not mothballed. This footage is from Jumbolair Airport in Ocala, Florida during a wannaGOFAST event, and everything that you have come to know and love about the car is right here: 9,000 RPM shifts and the incredible sound of that engine singing away…even when the run turns into a bit of a pedalfest!
