Photos and Video: The Insane Frozen Assets Twin Turbo Unlimited Ice Dragster

We got tipped off to photos and video of an unlimited twin turbo ice dragster by BangShifter and motorsports photographer Kelly Anderson. The machine is based on a Spitzer dragster chassis, has a two turbo Pro Line racing engine that’s hooked to two sets of spiked snow machine tracks, and is completely nuts. It is driven by Paul Groth, who went more than 200 mph on ice back in the 1980s at the helm of his Budwiser Sno King, a machine that is similar to Frozen Assets but used a blown alky burning big block Chevy engine.

We’re going out on a limb here but we’ll guess that the twin turbo, fuel injected engine in Frozen Assets is making more than 2,000hp. Pro Line Racing Engines is well known in the drag racing world and their stuff has shoved cars like the Mustangs of Jason Enos’s and Tim Lynch deep into the six second zone.

The machine debuted late last winter and is back on the ice now tested and getting sorted out of this year of high speed ice runs. Click below to see the video and scroll down to see the photos. Click on the photos to be taken to a forum discussion about this bad ass machine.
