When Ron Capps ran 3.964 at 320.89 miles per hour at Englishtown during the 2012 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Season, it knocked the world on it’s ear. Well that same scenario went down in West Palm Beach this past Friday night when Courtney Force became the Fastest NHRA Fuel Funny Car in 1000 foot drag racing history. Courtney expertly wheeled her Traxxas Ford Mustang to a 322.73 mph pass on Friday night next to brother in-law Robert Hight behind the wheel of the AAA Auto Club of Southern California Mustang. Both were incredible runs that put them in the number 1 and 2 position, but it’s Courtney’s speed that makes this one epic drag race.
