Road Tour Episode One: 1500 Miles In Elite Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, And Trucks That Weren’t Built To Sit, But Built To Drive

Road Tour Episode One: 1500 Miles In Elite Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, And Trucks That Weren’t Built To Sit, But Built To Drive

The Roadster Shop Road Tour was an epic event that most people would have died to go on even if it wasn’t 2020, but given the COVID-19 Pandemic we have all been going through, this event was something at a whole new level. In each episode of this video series, not only will they cover the fun and adventures of the Road Tour overall, but also will highlight one particular car on the trip. This episode is all about this killer ’55 Chevy that is sleeper personified. We’re talking 1,000 horsepower turbocharged combo, that looks old, all inside an ultra low mileage original paint ’55 Chevy. It’s nuts that they put this thing on a chassis, and did all this trick stuff to it, without messing up the stock and unbelievable body.

This is a car that most people would walk by at a car show without paying a lot of attention. Sure it’s cool, but if you don’t pay attention you won’t notice that those aren’t black steel wheels. Or that the rake isn’t just springs and shocks. And they certainly wouldn’t have a clue what lurks under the hood if they don’t take the time to check it all out. This is a car that will have you walking around it and drooling over the details for as long as you want to.

Roadster Shop FTW ! Watched the 5 episodes, what a bunch of GREAT modern Hot Rods ! If you can afford one would think a must have, they’re all so sweet hard to pick a favorite (leanin’ towards Legend truck)

Is the black dryer style flex hose covering a solid tube, or am I missing something? That would make sense if the turbo was hidden, but it’s not. Not very many views of the engine compartment.
