I’ve wanted a 3 in 1 Shear, Brake, and Slip Roller for years and I hope that I’ll finally be able to get one when we move to our new shop sometime later this year. Tools like this are arguably as important as the skill to run them when fabricating parts for your hot rod, muscle car, or race car build. With that said, sometimes the simplest tool can make a huge difference in one’s fabricating ability. In the case of this Eastwood 3 in 1 Shear, Brake and Slip Roller, each one of the three is a fairly simple but powerful tool. Combining the three of them means you can build even more elaborate parts, but without also being able to build the simple parts we all need.
In this video about the 3 in 1, you’ll see just how this tool can be used to build a patch panel for, or a complete, trans tunnel. Take a look. I think I could make some cool stuff with this sucker! Check out the video and see what you think you could do.
I have one of those for years. Works great and is as heavy as an anvil.
My father in law gave me a Diarco 24” missing some parts two months ago. Parts still available but expensive and just the thing to mangle some sheetmetal. I’ve had four or five projects waiting for this tool. Got some learning to do.
