What Do You Do When Your Subaru Impreza Rally Car Slides Back-End-First Into A Pole? Continue On! [VIDEO]

You see that flash of orange and black in the swirling snow in the picture above? That’s Leo Urlichich driving, and Carl Williamson sitting beside him along for the ride during the 2012 Rally Perce-Neige in Quebec. Urlichich was running hard on a straight when he tapped the brakes and the car decided to pirouette around, sending the hapless Impreza tail-first into a pole with one of the more sickening crunches heard in an auto wreck in quite some time. Once the swirling snow clears out, we find the Subaru facing the proper direction of travel in the middle of the road, so in true form, Urlichich gets right back on the throttle, and manages to pull off a second-place finish.

    hes actually pretty bloody lucky it didn’t hit either his or navigators door…..that impact could have killed one of them if it did.
