We don’t tend to be safety nazis around here. There’s a reasonable amount of things that we agree upon (helmets, seat belts, having a car properly set up for racing, etc.) but we aren’t too keen about 25 airbags in a car or anything like that. In the end, it is all about personal decisions and responsibility. Don’t harm others, and if you’re going to be absolutely stupid, keep your actions and consequences to yourself, right? Easy enough. But sometimes we see things that are just so far off center that we have to wonder who thought that it was a good idea to even attempt the feat in the first place. Case in point: here we have a beauty of a Holden Torana sedan on a ramp lift. The car looks nice, well sorted, and then we hear the sound that clues us into what happens next: a bottle of beer opened, and the bottle cap hitting the garage floor. Then the car fires off, drops into gear, and the tires are broken loose.
