Cushman Scooters have always been popular and a bit pricey, but their prices and popularity have gone up in recent years as part of the real popularity increase of mini bikes. We personally dig them, so we’re good with it and have thought about grabbing an old Cushman or something like it to build into a fun new project for cruising around the pits or around town. We’ve got a less traditional minibike at the moment, and it hauls ass, but it’s a bit much for just cruising around. I’m sure this Cushman will be one hell of a cruiser once the gang at Eastwood is done working on it. We know they take a lot of work but man they look so cool when they are done.
This one needs some love as it has a lot of rust, but with some simple panel fabrication there isn’t any reason all that rust can’t be sent into the trash bin. We showed you the first four episodes in the series, but here are the newest two. When Episode 6 is done this Cushman is getting awfully close to being rust free and that is pretty darn cool. Look at what it takes to make one of these nice again, and maybe pick up one of your own to restore.
