Valet Driver Makes A “Car Review” Video With A Customer’s BMW M4, BMW Forum Goes Vigilante To Bring Idiot His Due

Valet Driver Makes A “Car Review” Video With A Customer’s BMW M4, BMW Forum Goes Vigilante To Bring Idiot His Due

Hell hath no fury like properly irate BMW owners. When a video surfaced on YouTube with the title “VALET DRIVE BMW M4”, members of the BMW forum Bimmerpost saw it, and immediately cried foul at the antics of the driver. Besides the absolutely pathetic attempt at “reviewing” the car (which included clipped footage from BMW’s television ads and little to no actual information), the video showcased the driver beating the car around a tight underground garage.

That was a mistake. BMW owners are a rabid bunch, and in a quick fashion they started figuring out where the parking garage was located and identified the driver by his other YouTube videos. Within a couple of days, the members of Bimmerpost had managed to track down where the guy was working and contacted his employer. Guess who is essentially blacklisted from ever working valet again? You guessed it…there’s no word yet about the M4’s owner and his actions, but being a BMW owner, expect no mercy and a lawyer involved.

    OK wait?What?

Valet seems to know nothing about the car , except it’s bad @$$. Doesn’t understand the buttons,so what. Doesn’t like paddle shifters, again, what?
The front does have big Rino Nostrils, good call. What did he do ,really ? Its an M4, nice car but it’s not an i8.

It looked like he hit all of 4000 rpm in first,I never heard a tire squeal. He seemed to take care at the blind corners too.

    so what did I miss?

The point is: IT’S NOT HIS CAR! His job is to move the car from the front of the establishment to a parking spot and back, not to dick around with it. IF ITS NOT YOURS LEAVE IT ALONE.

Going vigilante is a good way to describe it.

What the valet did with the M4 is absolutely TAME compared to what he did with the Maserati GranTurismo, and ESPECIALLY the 2015 Corvette, which he said – with a smiley face – was not running the performance data recorder.

He took those cars to a lower level parking deck, that was almost completely empty, and hit the gas in the straightaways.

He revved the shit out of the Maserati (which is an incredibly loud car when you open it up).

And he gave some of his videos provocative titles, teasing the reader that he may have been doing burnouts or went “drifting.”

He completely abused the trust placed in him.

I didn’t see him burning rubber, but still – he crossed the line.

Rogue valets are everywhere. Not too many videotape themselves in the act though.

This valet got a little too comfortable.

Also, that BMW video had been up since September. It took a while for things to come to a boil here.

I think the valet was lucky. I beat a dude’s ass when I came out of Walmart and he was sitting on MY tailgate. But in my defense I’ve been accused of being a Redneck. I’m just saying if you don’t pay for it, don’t touch it. Same reason you you shouldn’t grab my wife’s ass.

“There are screen on the dash that tell you things” Brilliant powers of observation Einstein. What a POS. I can understand taking a video or pictures of it…It is a stunning car..but to rag out someones car…thats an ass beating at a minimum.

You turn your overpriced sedan over to a complete stranger, who you probably treated with disrespect and stiffed on the tip and expect something different?!? I’ve seen first hand how driver’s of cars like this treat valets. I’m not saying the valet’s behavior is justified, but probably is to be expected. Usually what goes around comes around!
