Most of you don’t know that I’ve been building a shop myself over the past couple years, and have had a ton of issues, disasters, and catastrophes, but I can tell you that what we’ve been through makes me sympathise with Derek from Vice Grip Garage as he and the family have gone through a huge flood at the shop. Insane rains this year have affected a lot of us and Derek was no different. Unfortunately the systems they had in place to deal with water flow were not enough, and they are going through major changes to keep this from happening in the future. In this Vice Grip Lodge video you’ll see Derek give a full tour of the flooding, the damage, how it all happened, and then also what they are doing to make it never happen again.
The shop isn’t quite done, but it sure is cool and you’ll dig it.
As you’d expect from Derek, the tour is entertaining, and it gives you a good view of what they have going on now, what they ultimately want it to look like, and the little stuff that is left to finish up.
