After Dad Brian scored them a killer new Go Kart, the Lohnes boys, Tom and Jack, decided they needed more room on the Lohnes family homestead to create their own racetrack. Since Brian had also told them they could drive the kart between their house and the neighbors, the boys were stoked but, they knew they needed a bit more room for high speed passes so that they didn’t end up wadding themselves up in the trees. What did they do? What any good fledging BangShift would in this scenario, steal Dad’s two ton Chevy “Goliatch” and yank out some greenery!
We’re not sure what this does for the overall carbon footprint of Goliath now that there is one less tree in the Boston area taking care of the emissions from the high horsepower 6 cylinder, but frankly they didn’t care and neither do we. They emailed footage to me Sunday saying that we should put this together into a cool video for the masses using Brian’s email address. The misspelled words, and strange lingo, had me believing it was straight from Brian until the Thanks Uncle Chad at the end of the email. We’ve kept Brian’s address top secret so the little brats don’t face real jail time, but we couldn’t pass up letting you guys see and here the action. Especially when Mom, Kerrie, comes out to discover their carnage. She doesn’t sound amused, but the boys don’t miss a beat. Their excitement can’t be squelched.
Good job boys. You are doing your old man proud. If Uncle Chad can make one suggestion? Stay away from the big tree on the right. That one might be too much, even for Goliath.
Check out the kids new Kart and the video, below.
Awww man, I wanted a TREE… the one next to it maybe. I’ve run over bigger crap than that with the school bus. In fact, I may have run over bigger crap than that with my ESCAPE on accidcent. HAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA.
Have fun with the cart!
Haha, nice. Just a test run to prove you need a pallet of bricks in the bed for traction before attacking it’s big brother.
That tree on the right looks like it needs to go Boys! (just wait till Mom goes to the store or sumthin.)
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
The funny thing is the tree is actually bigger than it looks remember, this is not the size of a regular pickup truck. Sure it’s no monster tree, but still a tree. And fun.
