Video: Watch Dennis Anderson Go Completely Crazy In The King Sling Mud Truck – Bonus Epic Save!

Dennis Anderson was, is, and always will be a BangShift hero of the highest order. The guy has done everything there is to do in a monster truck about fifty times and his King Sling mud truck is a toy he busts out to release some steam and have fun. That’s exactly what he was doing while putting on an exhibition for the fans at the Thunder Valley Mudplex in South Carolina. You’ll see him catch monster air, get the truck all kinds of sideways, launch through the mud pit and you’ll also see Anderson make an awesome save when the truck appeared to be way far gone and heading for a roll over. All of that monster truck experience helped him in that moment!

What may be the coolest part of the video comes at the end when Anderson addresses the crowd. Both Chad and I have met the guy and chatted with him some. He’s a very sincere guy and outside of maybe Bob Chandler, Anderson has made more money with monster trucks than virtually any human being alive. He takes the King Sling truck out for kicks. We saw that thing at SEMA a couple years ago and it is a really gnarly piece, for sure. Anyway, in the course of addressing the crowd you’ll see Anderson stop a time or two to maintain his composure. He thanks the people for, “every nut and bolt on that truck and every shingle on his roof.” That’s pretty damned cool.

Anyway, Dennis Anderson is a monster truck legend and the dude is a decent human being. That’s a heck of a combo in our book.

Dennis is the real deal, just a country boy who saw an opportunity to make a living doing something he loves. Folks in NE North Carolina love him, he has a nice shop where you can watch his trucks being built and maintained, on the 158 highway south of Coinjock, NC.

Very cool!!! Talk about man and machine becoming one, the balance and knowing what the truck can do from his years and years of driving it. Those skinny tires can really rip it up. Nice Vid BS guys, stuff like this is why I hang out here!!!!!
