Here at BangShift.com we’ve installed our fare share of Ridetech Suspension systems, and have 200,000 miles of driving Ridetech equipped vehicles of our own and others. But when we heard about this record breaking install, we couldn’t wait for the video. At this year’s Holley LS Fest, the Engine Swap Champions were given the opportunity to install one of Ridetech’s Street Challenge systems on their 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible, and did the install from start to finish in just over 3 hours. For the rest of you who commonly ask how long it takes to do an install, this should illustrate that you and a buddy, along with some pizza and beer, can do this install in a very relaxed weekend.
For some inspiration, check out the video. Oh, and besides making the car look cool, it shaved 16 seconds off the autocross time, on the same tires, the same wheels, and the same brakes. If you missed the memo, Ridetech builds air ride systems that handle. If you want one after seeing this video, click here to go to Ridetech.com where shipping is still free through 6pm tonight.
