Watch This 434ci LS7 Engine Topped With Stack Injection Make 750hp On The Dyno At Biggish RPM

We know. You hate LS engines and they suck, and they are around too much, and everyone has them, and they suck, and….wait we said they suck twice, right? Just wanted to make sure we didn’t spill any Haterade on the floor while we were going through that little rant. The fact is that even the haters are right on a couple things. Yes, the LS engine is pretty much everywhere, but there are places it has not cracked yet. Take class-style sportsman drag racing for example. The traditional small block is still the dominant choice for cars like dragters and index racers. Now we know that the LS is everywhere on the budget end of the spectrum and in many small tire style cars, etc, but we’re not sure why people aren’t building super comp cars with LS engines yet. Those days are sure to come. But anyway…

The video you are about to see was made by Danzio Performance and the star of the show is a 434ci eight stack injected LS7 engine. The mill winds out some 750hp and more than 600 foot/pounds of torque. We don’t actually see the dyno sheet but we’re taking their word for it. We have seen LS engines with all different kinds of inductions systems on them before but the eight stack EFI is probably the coolers. This is obviously one of those cases where the owner wanted modern EFI efficiency without the need to spend hours and days getting it tuned, keeping it tuned, and then fouling plus. The LS7 variant of the family (which is what this one is) wears those big rectangle port heads and it is that raw horsepower making ability coupled with the tuning skills of Danzio that really makes this one sing.

Pretty sure it is only Geordie that says they suck. Even as a Ford guy, there is no denying they are the future of hot rodding as the SBC was previously.

I have had my LS1 Z28 for 8 years now and the admiration I have for thr LS platform keeps rising. A few bolt ons and a small cam and it runs high 11’s. Factory assembled 70k mile motor.

I can’t believe that Chevrolet are so antiquated that they are one of the only manufacturers to still offer an OHV engine, Let them be the future of hot rodding as Ford motors have won every honour in motor sport including multiple F1 titles and Le Mans victories which is something the SBC never achieved!

I didn’t say motor sports, I said hot rodding. If you don’t know the difference, You should be on BangYourHead not Bangshift.
