Remember, Darrel Waltrip just about crapped his pants on a parade lap of this deal in 2011. The race is a cultural happening in Australia as the Indy 500 is here in the states. The cars rule with their screaming V8 engines, factory appearance, and general vibe that is what NASCAR should be. TUNE IN BELOW!

awesome stuff, eh? I wish they’d re-show some of the 70’s races….we all grew up on this in Australia…sitting in yer PJ’s at 7 am waiting for it to start, then don’t move till 5 pm….wonderful!!! So glad you guys got to see it too!!!
What an awesome race, and to have it come down to 3 tenths of a second after 6 hours of racing at the most dangerous track in the world–unbelievable.
And then that BS at Talladega happened the day after, and it makes you wonder where everyone’s priorities are in North America for racing…
