Pat Musi’s daughter Lizzy is no stranger to the drag strip having grown up at tracks all across the country with her dad Pat. 2012 marks her first year as a competitive driver, though. Musi was competing in Top Sportsman at the ADRL Spring Drags at Bristol last weekend and suffered a massive wreck in qualifying. Lizzy was thankfully unharmed, but the car was torn to pieces.

In the video you’ll see, she is approaching the eighth-mile the car moves to the right towards the wall and then suddenly moves to the left and begins to swap ends. As the rear of the car comes around it becomes, the rear spoiler becomes a wing and lifts the car up and deposits on the top of the wall. The car rides for an amazingly long distance on the wall, spinning and twisting before wiping out the very camera filming the whole wreck! The camera man ran for cover and was ok, and to reinforce another thing, Lizzy walked away OK as well.

Hopefully the Musi clan gets the car patched back up and ready to go for the next ADRL race in Maple Grove, PA!
