We have showed plenty of videos in the past of mud trucks pulling big wheelies on the launch or hanging the front end on the way through a pit. This is the first time we have ever seen a guy stand his truck on a non-existent bumper TWICE on the same run. If this were an asphalt drag strip, the vehicle would have taco’d the front suspension and maybe worse with this level of violence, but in the relatively soft confines of goupy mud, all is well! That is not to say that the landing from the second moonshot was not violent, look at the way the one piece fiberglass nose handles the shot.
The announcer is a screaming lunatic that sounds a lot like Sam Kinison, although Kinison has been dead for 20 years now…unless he hasn’t been and he ditched out on the fame, girls, and money of professional comedy to announce mod bog races. It would make for one hell of a movie if it were true.

I wish I could find the video of Tom Marsh driving “Intruder” at the Bayou George mud race in Panama City, Florida. It was straight up and twice as fast.
