Wheel of Death Starts May 15th! Find Out What Happens When You Run And Engine With No Oil At Full Song

Wheel of Death Starts May 15th! Find Out What Happens When You Run And Engine With No Oil At Full Song

My buddy Richard Holdener is always coming up with funny ideas, and he’s always on the dyno making big power with engine combos of all kinds. Some of them include running junkyard motors with power combos and power adders of all kinds. We’re always amazed at just how much these engines will put up with, so when Richard came to me and said “Hey, we should do a show that puts each engine through some horrible circumstance and see how it lives! We can simulated things that we’ve heard about, and maybe push some others to the max. Plus, people can send in their suggestions too!” I said “I’m in, how are we going to decide what to do to each engine? We can do ….” at which point he and I stood there coming up with all kinds of cool ideas. And then I asked how we were going to choose the method of destruction and Richard explained the “Wheel of Death”. The rest is amusing fun history, that we’ll explain more of after the very first episode airs on May 15th!

May 15th!?!? Yep, we’ll be debuting the show May 15th on the Hot Rod Network, so stay tuned!

Our first episode is “Drain the Vein” where we let all the oil out, while running the engine at full load on the dyno at Westech.

Here is a little teaser.

I\’d like to see how long one would last if you replace the oil with pure antifreeze or water.

Yeah drama sells… but I have a hard time being comfortable with intentional destruction for the fun of it..(seems like misplaced enthusiasm) I hope there is a (worthwhile) educational component…..

It\’s Bangshift…they do funny stuff while also reporting relevant news. Geez…loosen your blower belts and have some fun!!! I don\’t think any $40,000 engines were hurt during the making of this video!
