Wild Video: A Monster Lane Changing Wheelstand From a Small Tire Mustang

Now this is some wheels up action! This Mustang dead hooks at the hit of the throttle and it is full sky, full time from there on out. The guy driving this car has some serious stones because he keeps his foot on the carpet a hell of a lot longer than we would have!

The scary part is that the car heads to the right and actually crosses the center line about 300 feet down the track. Luckily for our hero, the other driver made a clean pass and was long gone by the time the ‘Stang crashes down into terra firma. The landing is a hard one with a shower of spark from either headers, the oil pan, or a combo of both.

Would you have the gusto to keep your foot in it as long as this dude?

I think gusto is the wrong word to use. I think a serious lack of gray matter between the ears would be a better fit. A complete lack of concern for his fellow racer too.

I agree.. When the rear bumper keeps hitting the track, you gotta lift – this guy got lucky and is probably new to wheel stands. This is just dumb driving.
