I was in transit either coming or going to the salt when I received an email from a BangShifter named Barney which tipped me off to the latest incredible find of old cars that are coming to auction in Nebraska. It wasn’t too long ago that another massive auction took place and really turned into a hype machine regarding the cars that were to be sold. It turned into a massive event with TV coverage and the works. It was a bidder feeding frenzy with mundane cars that had extremely low mileage capturing insane money. This is an auction of a different strip but it may even be better than the first one.

The Bullock family was in in the Chevrolet business for decades and when they left the Chevy franchise in 1995 they trooped on as an independent dealer in Nebraska. Ultimately the dealership closed and with its closing, there was a need to divest hundreds of old cars that had been traded in and kept over the years and some classics that were restored. There are no “zero miles” new cars in this auction but there’s a TON of diversity and some really neat iron. We have some photos below that don’t even scratch the surface of what’s going to be sold. The cars range from mom-mobiles to cool couples and convertibles to fully restored hotties like a GTO Judge and others.

There are old trucks, a few old Japanese cars, old buses, and dealer memorabilia a-plenty. At least 200 old cars will be sold off in September when the auction happens. Will this one turn into a frenzy like the Lambrecht situation? We hope not. There are some neat pieces in here and most of them seem as though they could be saved and made into a running car. Heck, maybe we’re just inspired by the latest version of Roadkill.
