(Photos by Charles Wickam) – When our man Charles Wickam told us that he was going to catch a ride up to Austin and check out a killer event at Jesse James’s Austin Speed Shop we were excited to get his load of photos and stuff from the event. Well as usual Charles didn’t let us down! He delivered a huge gallery of photos showing, the shop, the horde of kick ass traditional rods that came out for the event and the newest creation from the shop, a roadster for Jesse to beat on that he and the boys built.
Charles told us that there were film crews in attendance that were getting footage of the new car and the shop for an upcoming reality show of some sort. We can only hope it will be cool and show up on the Discovery Velocity channel where lots of neat automotive programming is popping up these days.
The event included the big get together, hang out at the shop, and also a cruise where everyone got to run their junk down the road and have some fun. The group of cars was great and Charles did a fantastic job getting photos of just about everything there! He also shot some video which we will run tomorrow.
